The obvious question

Why is Health in the name of a sunglasses company?

Fair question. The answer is a single standard we hold every model to before it earns a place in our collection.

Smart enough to translate.Open enough to hear the road. That second line is the whole answer.

Read the name as three jobs. AI is the engine that recognises, translates and captures. Translator is the work it actually does, standing between you and a world that speaks a hundred languages. Health is the standard both of them have to clear.

In practice that standard comes down to one thing: your ears stay open. Bone-conduction audio sends sound through the cheekbone, so nothing blocks the canal. You stay connected to traffic, to announcements, to the person talking to you, while the audio plays.

What we check

What has to be true before we list it.

Four things we check before a model goes on the site, and what happens after you buy.

01 · Worn first

We wear it first. Every time.

We road-test every model before we sell it. A photo and a spec sheet aren't enough for us.

02 · Tested in the open

Out in the world, not on a shelf.

A model earns its listing by surviving ordinary use: a workout, a small trip, a conversation in a second language.

03 · Stated plainly

We publish the trade-offs

No inflated battery or language claims here, we tell you the trade-offs before you buy, not after.

04 · Reachable

Secure checkout, real answers.

Encrypted Shopify checkout, a business address in Quebec, Canada, and a contact form that reaches an actual person.

Our standard

How we decide what goes on the site.

What we look for in a pair of AI smart glasses

AI smart glasses only justify their place if they replace something you were already carrying. That is the first test we apply: does this pair remove a device from your pocket, or simply add one to your face?

From there we assess four things. Audio you can live with all day. A camera positioned where your attention already is. Translation and recognition that keep pace with a real conversation. And a frame you would still choose if none of the technology were inside it.

A pair that fails that last test never gets worn, however well it handles the first three.

Why we favour bone-conduction audio glasses

Bone-conduction audio sends sound through the cheekbone rather than into the ear canal. The ear stays open, so traffic, announcements, and the person beside you all still reach you.

For anyone moving through the world, running, cycling, travelling, that's a safety feature before it's an audio feature. Sealed earbuds ask you to choose between hearing your music and hearing the road. An open-ear design never puts that choice in front of you.

The trade-off is worth stating plainly: bone conduction doesn't deliver the isolated bass of a sealed in-ear monitor. If you want to disappear into an album on a quiet flight, this is the wrong technology. If you want to stay connected to what's happening around you, this is built for exactly that.

Smart glasses and sunglasses, not one or the other

What you get here is smart glasses and sunglasses for everyday use: real UV protection, a frame that suits an ordinary face, and lens options you'd pick on looks alone. The camera, the audio, and the translation show up on the days you need them, and disappear on the days you don't.

We hold every pair to one standard: does it make sense on a day like any other.

What we won't do

We don't publish specifications we can't verify and we don't quote battery life or language coverage more precisely than the manufacturer supports.

We don't sell a pair simply because we could get our hands on it.

And we don't hide the trade-offs. Every pair of AI smart glasses compromises somewhere, weight, battery, audio isolation, or price. We tell you where before you buy, not after.
